Tuna Noodle Casserole

12 oz egg noodles
2 can tuna (5 oz, drained)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
0.75 cup milk
1 cup frozen peas (optional)
1 cup shredded cheese
1 cup crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs (for topping)
0.5 tsp black pepper

Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook noodles until just shy of done; drain.
In a large bowl mix tuna, soup, milk, peas, half the cheese, and pepper. Fold in noodles.
Spread in a greased 9×13 baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and chips or crumbs.
Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top. Rest a few minutes before serving.
